I’m absolutely sold on this show -

At first I thought, O.K. this is just a rip off of Gladiator & 300 … but yeah, those happen to be two of my favorite movies of all-time, so if Spartacus has any resemblance to it, then I’m bound to love it!  And after two episodes, I did.  Well, I do!  And I proceeded to spend an entire day catching up to it.  I’m 10 episodes deep now (11 aired) and there’s only 13 total for this first season.

Your first thought upon laying your eyes upon this show, soft-core porn and gore.  Yes, it is over the top at times, but that’s why we love it, right?  Plus, the story thickens with each episode, and there are well placed twists and turns around every corner.  This is a “dude” show, but the women love it too, so feel free to make it a night.

I don’t want to reveal too much detail about the show if you haven’t watched it, but I’ll end with this.  Watch it!
